The new sheriff of a small New England beach community is consumed with ridding the town of a huge killer shark. But the mayor is slow to give him the resources he needs.

The special effects are certainly not impressive by today's standard, but there's a lot more to love in Jaws. It's probably one of the best directed films ever and there's great performances from it's three stars. This is a classic and is sure to please all movie fans. If you haven't seen it in widescreen, you haven't seen it.

Spielberg was only 25 when he directed Jaws; it was the first movie to gross over $100 million.
