A safe cracker who is framed for murder teams up with an expert forger to make an escape attempt from a French prison.

A wonderful escape flick with decent character development and some very pleasing interaction between McQueen and Hoffman. Recommended especially to fans of prison fare and those seeking a bit of change in their movie viewing experience.
