The Jersey stoners set out to Hollywood to thwart the filming of a Jay and Silent Bob movie. Along the way they get double-crossed by a gang of foxy jewel thieves and steal an orangutan.

The first 10 minutes or so aren't much more than a couple choppy jokes played out, but it soon develops into a well-paced and funny film. It picks up more energy as the film goes on and shouldn't disappoint even the most fickle of Kevin Smith fans (like this reviewer).

Most of the jokes work really well and the pack of jewel thieves led by Elizabeth and Dushku are very easy on the eyes. Calling this a sequel isn't quite accurate, but your enjoyment of the film will be greatly increased if you get all the references to past Smith movies, like Jay's Berserker tour shirt.
