In
the weeks preceding Christmas, a menagerie
of relationships begins to develop
and unfold in Britain.
As the cacophony of relationships sprints
across the screen, there's much to take
in but it never feels overwhelming. Some
stories are more interesting than others
and some are left a bit open-ended but
they work well in concert. The individual
stories occasionally overlap, but only
in the most insignificant manner. I am
glad we get to see many stories, because
just one or two of them would not have
been interesting enough even if developed
further.
