Jack is the Pumpkin King of Halloweentown. He becomes obsessed with idea of Christmas; so much so that he has Santa Claus kidnapped so Jack himself can play the part this Christmas.

A dark stop-motion animation feature that has amassed quite a following. Critics and audiences have praised the imaginative characters and visual splendor. I'm a big fan of Danny Elfman's wonderful musical musings in this film, as well.

Director Henry Selick brings wonderful life to Tim Burton's ideas. Not to be missed by those with an interest in animation, Tim Burton or holiday family favorites.
