Three child prodegies reunite when their estranged father announces he's dying.
Critcally well received but less so with audiences, The Royal Tenenbaums is a tounge-in-cheek comedy for those with a more aquired taste.
Interesting characters and lots of stuff happening in the script make the film pretty entertaining. But a sluggish pace and downtrodden tone dampen most of the fun that could be had.
Still, a nice change of pace film that should mostly appeal to those who see lots of movies and are looking for something more offbeat.
Directed by Wes Anderson.
