Patrick Bateman is a meticulous Wall Street VP, whose unimpressive reputation precedes him. But it just so happens, he is crazy as a loon and goes on a citywide killing spree.

It's actually quite disturbing that this film is funny. Bale gives a good performance as the crazed killer and there's a decent script that concentrates on an inner monologue the killer constantly has with himself. Not nearly as interesting or heavy handed as a movie like Silence of the Lambs, but it doesn't try to be.
