The United States' manned mission to the moon meets with disaster on the Apollo 13 mission. The crew faces losing vital life support systems and a wrecked capsule. They are forced to alter their mission and just try to get home alive.

Nominated for multiple Oscars, including Best Picture, Apollo 13 is a wonderful tribute to American ingenuity and the resilience of the human spirit. The film really is more about the events than the characters, but the events pictured are some the most heroic in American history. Definitely worth owning.
