Three students set out into the Maryland woods to film a documentary on the Blair Witch.
A low-budget indie that raked in lots of dough. What you see is the footage of what they filmed--a pretty good idea for a movie actually. Other good ideas the producers had was making a web site about the Blair Witch (whom is totally fictional) to make it seem real. All that aside, the film itself really is kinda scary. The dialogue is sorta dumb, and the acting is marginal but we must applaud the atmospheric horror and the original idea. A must see for horror fans and the curious.
Directed by
Daniel Myrick and Eduardo Sanchez.
(The sequal, releassed in 2000, is completely worthless.)
