Two illegal aliens living in London and working at the same seedy hotel, uncover a plot involving the shipping of human organs. With Immigration Control threatening them, they might have to enter into the illegal activities in order to save their own skins.
An ever-escalating story and two nice lead performances make Dirty Pretty Things one of the most underrated films of 2003. The script isn't overly in-depth but has more than a few surprises and a poignant message or two even manages to creep in. With an interesting color palette and a killer ending, you should put Dirty Pretty Things on your short list of "movies I meant to see".
Directed by Stephen Frears.
