A young woman makes a passive attempt to kill herself and ends up in an asylum. Here she learns a few things about herself, friendship and life.
This movie is almost very interesting. Two fine performances by Jolie and Ryder. Goldberg pleases, too, as the head floor nurse. It isn't one of those life-altering films, but it has a certain dramatic appeal and a rather impressive entertainment value. Recommended especially to all lost souls.
Academy Award winner, Best Supporting Actress (Jolie).
