A surveillance expert, who is investigating for an unusual client, becomes obsessed when thinks there's a murder unfolding.

Most critics agree that this is one of Coppola's best films. There's many subtleties at work here that help the story to unfold with suspense and erupt to a climatic ending. You may have overlooked this film, or never even been introduced to it, but it isn't a film to miss. Hackman is at his best here, too.
