Jake's (Hawke) first day working the narcotics division with the LAPD is an eventful one when he is paired with a jaded, violent veteran narc (Washington).

Training Day is the whole package. Great acting, highlighted by Denzel Washinton's ferocious performance. Wonderful script, nothing is wasted in this film. Quality drama, an interesting story that keeps coming at you.

Definitely one of the better pictures of the year and a highlight for both Washington and Hawke. You may be somewhat surprised to see what Snoop Dogg can do on camera, he has a quality cameo.
