A Philadelphia security guard is the sole survivor of a horrible train wreck. With the urging of a local comic book art dealer, he begins to believe he may possess supernatural powers.
Although the script is pretty good, there's more than one place where the film drags a bit. Then there is the whole premise of the film, that an ordinary guy has the realization that he's a superhero. You're gonna have to get past this in order to enjoy the filmI couldn't entirely swallow this pill.
That being said, Unbreakable isn't an entire waste of two hours. In fact, the dialogue is good and Samuel L Jackson delivers another fine performance here. The whole film is just a little off center, and in this case, the entertainment value is as well.
Directed by M. Night Shyamalan.
