An ex-con, recently out of prison, tries to lead clean life by taking a job with the NYC subway system. He soon learns that this, too is filled with corruption and evil deeds.
A fairly interesting suspense drama that is largely character driven. Completely overlooked in the theaters, it's not an action packed thriller; the suspense comes mostly by wondering how the characters will react to escalating events. To that end, the film is done very well. All the principle actors give fine performances, too.
I'm not even sure he has a line, but I included former All Star baseball player Keith Hernandez in the credits.
Directed by James Gray.
