When two large asteroids threaten Earth, the government plans to build a system of bunkers in hopes of saving some of the population.

Difficult not to compare this to Armageddon. The former is more exciting, but Deep Impact may be the better film. Certainly a better plot with a much more realistic approach. Freeman is a big plus, too, as the President. I really wish Hollywood would stop throwing kids into every mainstream movie though.
