When an outdated Russian satellite threatens to fall out of orbit, an over the hill engineer (Eastwood) is called upon to travel into space to repair it. But he insists on taking his original team up with him.

A pretty fun space adventure film that isn't remarkable in any aspect but still entertains. Its many good laughs, a few nice action sequences and tight story keep Space Cowboys afloat. For reference: it's better than Mission to Mars but not as good as Apollo 13.
